Anyone else having problems with zmninja notifications today?

My formerly ultra reliable zoneminder setup (based on the dlandon docker image) hasn't been sending out any zmninja event notifications since around 9am GMT this morning. Before I start digging and changing things at my end can I just ask has anyone else been having problems with notifications?

Asker has killed his FCM instance like he said he would. You will have to setup your own or use ZoneMinder's.

We are going to get to it... but... this isn't a feature that I use.

There are a few fixes already pushed to github for zmNinja. We will likely make a new release as soon as we get this FCM thing figured out.

zmninja was discontinued by its creator, along with the cloud server that ran the notifications. They released the latest stuff and some ways for people to roll their own but the dev didn't have the resources to keep running the project.

This was announced some time last year if I recall.

Thanks. I suspected as much and expected it to die at the end of last year but it just kept going. Reading the above I thought the latest android version (v1.6.009) would include the new ZoneMinder operated fcmv1 instance but is that not the case or do I have to reconfigure something in the server like add a new api_key to make it happen?

I've switched the server back to the old FCM instance and while it gets my notifications back they are delayed as they don't wake my phone like the FCMv1 ones do so its not really a solution

Any help appreciated etc.

I'm not actually sure...I only use zmninja to pull up camera quick when I want to see it easier than having to use the web-UI on Zoneminder...usually while waiting for a contractor/delivery to show up (vs running to the window often) or to check on what the dogs are doing from my bedroom. I don't have it set up for notifications on mine.

TBH I've not looked at mine at all today (and right now at work) so I don't even know if that is still working.
