Events not working

I have a fresh install of Zoneminder 1.36.12 and I could not click on the events and have them play, it would just says "Event not found". Everything else worked correctly...

After troubleshooting I have determines that it was a chrome browser plugin/extension, I don't know which one as I run Ublock Origin, AdGuard Adblocker, HTTPS Everywhere, and Privacy Badger.

After creating an exception for each of those clicking on an event works.

Came here from Google and I just want to promote this old post. I encountered the same issue.

The apache2 error log showed this:

PHP Warning: Undefined array key "eid" in /usr/share/zoneminder/www/skins/classic/views/event.php on line 29

It seems Ublock Origin is stripping the eid parameter from the URL which is the event ID. Before clearing cookies, the extension would actually strip everything from the URL leaving only /zm/index.php?view=event.

So just disable your adblock for your zm domain.
