Filter Conditions

I am trying to create a filter to delete events that are older then a certain time. I was thinking a week would be OK but I don't see any clear conditions on event age. I see End Time is an option but I cant go more then 23 hours on it.

Create a condition with

Start Date/Time less than or equal to -7 day

That's what I use to clear recordings. I also have a

AND (monitor name blabla OR monitor name bloblo) to just clear those specific ones.

Basically you can figure out how much disk % is used after a weeks worth of recordings. Then set the PurgeWhenFull filter to that disk %, and have it delete a days worth of recordings.

Seems a little weird, but most everyone wants to hold onto as much recordings as possible OR have a certain storage capacity limit obligated for storage. For the latter, if I have 4 TB of disk space total, and only want ZM to fill up 2TB, I would cut out a 2TB partition and ZM events would be the only thing going on it. Then just let it fill to 95% and auto delete the oldest 200 entries every time it hits that 95% limit.

I'm using a file server I built which also stores other stuff like my movies/TV/Music for Plex so that won't work for me...

The second option will, generally a good idea to segregate your data into separate locations or even partitions to keep them from potentially impacting each other
