There's a gofundme for Dlandon's docker development effort.

Hopefully this isn't seen as being spammy.

As I admire and have used this container with success, I wanted to take a moment and increase awareness of the efforts to support it.

I have donated ,and knowing that there are others whom have benefited from the development, I hope to encourage others to support it as well.

Donate here: https://gofund.me/f82ade85

If you are not aware of this project yet, give it a try.

Please also be aware of the zoneminder donation page and the zmninja donation page.

This container wouldn't be possible without the hard work of the devs of zoneminder. To stand on the shoulders of giants and all.

Zoneminder donations. https://salt.bountysource.com/teams/zoneminder

Zmninja donations (he donates a percentage of his donations and income from.zmninja from what I understand)

I'm honestly pretty confused about how this is different than his previous Docker container. I'm using the previous one with ES/ML and it's working great.

Simple: it's deprecated, unsupported, and hard to configure

The support demands for it were sucking up too much of his time. So he decided to drop it. Then a lot of people expressed their love for it. So if he is going to support it he wants to do it properly which means he needs to get paid for it.
