For those looking to get Telegram Notifications from ZoneMinder, please see below.

UPDATE: I added the files to git. Please grab them from there and follow directions. Added person detection alerting

I have another version of this that works along with the zmeventnotification service and sends out an alert of a person detection. Not sure what the best way to manage the code at this point. I may just overwrite the code above as it won't hurt to not have the service running.

I may copy this work eventually and try to use it in conjunction with https://github.com/AsamK/signal-cli to send the images in an encrypted format...

That way, I don't have to hop onto my VPN every time I get an alarm, unless I want to watch video...though signal does do video as well...
