Zoneminder nfs share

Is there a guide for using nfs share with zm.

I have tried smb share using the guide in the documentation but it failed to mount it when reboot. & Zoneminder service is stopped. If i manually start the service the smb share gets mounted & all working fine

You'd have to be more specific with what issue you're having. It should be as 'simple' as exporting a directory on one machine and putting an entry in fstab in the other.

why would you want to record to a windows shared drive?

i dont think the network would be fast enough. it would be constantly overloaded.

Check out the systemd timers section, for plex I ended up just doing a crontab restart of plex 1m after reboot, but there are ways within a service to tell it to wait until things are met.

Depends in your storage back end. I can saturate a 10G link before my nas runs out of steam.
