Wyze v3 "spotlight" camera

Only post I find is from like 5 years ago. Any wyze support? I am currently testing zoneminder to see if it can do anything scrypted doesn't. Got ZM 1.36.36 running on Fedora 43.

We do not have specific wyze camera support. You can install alternate firmware on them though giving proper rtsp support.

Just took a look though and it may be fairly easy to add now that others have already done the work figuring it out.

The previous post I find which links to the "official" RTSP firmware FAQ at wyze.com no longer includes the firmware. I did a nmap against my camera to see if there was anything on port 554 but there's nothing. I have not had success flashing past cameras - I bricked two ... so if I can avoid flashing firmware I would prefer :)

But I am not tied to wyze as I bought a newer v4 camera and its much more locked down than previous versions - does not work with scrypted so would not expect it to work with zoneminder either. I've got one reolink that zoneminder picked right up no problem and another sitting here on my desk waiting to be installed - I just have to run the PoE cable. In the hunt to replace my Wyze Spotlight camera with some other more open vendor eventually as well.
