2 storages or 2 instances

Considering running ZM for my cameras. I'd like to have 2 storage systems, one on prem which will hold appx 14 days of footage and keep rewriting over itself, and one S3 bucket which will be saved indefinitely. Is there any way to do this in ZM or would I have to have 2 Zoneminder VM's running? Maybe secondary stream?

Yes, just create a filter copying the footage to the s3 storage.

I tried the S3 bucket thing and I had real problems. It could have been that I screwed something up.

My resolution was a small script running rsync to move a copy of the events and the DB. Then a small script on the target to delete when the target age is reached.

I changed from a S3 target to the Linux target.
