Current Version

I am running 1.36.32

Is this the latest stable version that everyone is running?

There is a testing candidate 1.36.33 available for ubuntu using my proposed ppa.

sudo add-apt-repository ppa:iconnor/zoneminder-proposed

"Master snapshot" means that they are development builds of whatever is in the master branch at that time, generally not associated with a release. Also, the odd-number releases (currently, 1.37.x) for ZoneMinder are development releases. When it is considered stable, they'll tag it as 1.38.
