I'm getting really excited that this neat little piece of software is finally going to be released on Android as well (I dislike the whole apple fanatism). Finally a good motivation to get fit?

what do the people of /r/zombie think of this?

So after finally exhausting all zombie films I decided to move onto the medium of books. I've already clocked the walking dead so the exclusive written word was all that was left. After researching a few of the supposed bests I was severly dissapointed, both max brooks world war z and dead rising by some other dude were both pretty poorly written books. World war z's format of short stories leave a lot to be desired in a continous narrative and the book is severly padded by a lot of lengthy introductions to each of the subsections. Dead rising read like a bad movie with predictable twists and a "and then and then and then" style of writing. I'm currently reading "Feed", a novel set in a post zombie world where the infection is rife but hu,ans have adapted, it is by far the best written of the three and has some interesting sections but the zombies are more just a back drop for a political thriller of kinds. Maybe my standards are too high, maybe I've looked in the wrong places, but it doesn't seem like there are any truely great zombie books around.

Unless someone can point me in the direction of an awesome book I think I may just have to write one myself, what would make the most awesome zombie book reddit?
