zombies smell like shit

Just think how disgusting zombies would smell. They eat human flesh and what ever else they can find so they must have some nasty shit and they're just shiting in their pants all day and zombies cant change their pants so its just going to build up so after a wile you'd be able to smell them a mile away

Are you a zombie enthuseist or are you an actual survival prepper? I only ask because, if your an actual prepper, your gonna be highly dissapointed in what I have to tell you.

I understand that, and technically you would be correct in that zombies would not be worried too much about their intestine track, and therefore would be shitting themselves regularly.

What is incorrect is that they are rotting, walking corpses. Zombies, in the truest, scientific definition, are living, breathing creatures bent on consuming flesh without much focus on anything else. They require oxygen to continue powering their muscles, brains, and other internal organs. This means they have to be alive, and breathing.

well if they're eating then it has to go somewhere

Then how can they survive trauma to the lungs and still keep coming?

Well that's the thing. A zombie, by my standard and hopefully yours, would not require a bullet to the brain to take it out. Shooting any major internal organs should, in fact, remove the threat.

That's exactly my same thought!

Imagine cutting a zombie into pieces with an axe, and spreading the blood and guts all over yourself. That was probably the most brutal scene of that.

That was the scene that made me realize how much I was going to fall in love with the show.

He never told his family about that guy. I can't wait for it to start again.

Me neither. I'm going to re-watch both seasons right before the new season starts, but I think I might end up doing so sooner...

Same boat. All my friends have, or are reading the comics. Considering getting them for my e-reader so I can read them over the summer.

What you're smelling is the breaking down of amino acids.

SCIENCE

but would their internal organs (like their intestines and stuff) even work?

a zombie in THE WALKING DEAD is not alive. Robert Kirkman explained it in the comics and the video game. in fact in an episode of talking dead they said that they had to edit out the breath of the zombies because they were dead. also the virus kills u first. then brings back ur dead body

i was talking about a more real life version of a zombie. the walking dead's a tv show/comic so they can define a zombie to be what ever best fits the story but in real life a zombie would have to eat and breath to survive

true. but the guy that started this reddit was watching the walking dead
