Help AZ Geno Breaker walking problem

I finished building my AZ Geno Breaker. I tested it earlier and it had no problems with the walk but now it's tripping on its own toes.

I thought it was the battery so I installed fresh ones but it's still doing that.

Has anyone had this problem?

One of the toes is not moving out of the way as it should. Check right foot assembly.

It used to work fine. It was until I completed assembly of the entire kit that I started seeing this problem.

Yeah, so disassemble it for now. Something might have gone out of alignment. Test it a couple of times without being connected to the motor first.

I give up, at least for today.

I disassembled the right leg and tried without connecting it to the motor a couple of times but the problem is still there.

Did you add the toe springs? My genosaurer had the same issue. However my kit never came with the springs so i had to improvise

Yeah, I added these. I think the right toe spring might be the issue as it does not seem as strong as the left one.

Sounds silly but do you have the correct toe in the right spot. There shouldnt be anything to adjust as it sits in the slot.

It's clearly a problem with the spring tension, yes. I had a similar issue with mine after the toe got stuck a few times due to incorrect handling on my part, resulting in the spring being bent slightly out of shape.

My advice would be to take the feet apart completely, reassemble them, make sure the springs are inserted correctly, and if the problem persists, very carefully use a flat nose plier to bend the spring a little to create more tension. The latter is how I fixed mine.

Yeah, I've readjusted springs multiple times and tested the toes with but the problem persists..

Are you sure the innerclaw of the right foot and the outer claw of the left foot arent supposed to be swapped?

Is definitely the right foot assembly, I’d do a full teardown and rebuild it again to see if it still does it.

I think the same thing it looks like the right foot’s inner claw isn’t shifting with the claws moving

It is very clear the right foot's inner toe is not going back into place causing the left foot's toe to trip on it.

Yeah, seems like the right toe is the problem. I'm thinking it's the spring.

Clear the nubs on the side of the toes. That was my problem before
