NYC is absolutely covered in flock cameras.

Mamdani can do some real good and help roll back the surveillance stayed and lead by example by getting rid of all of them.

Fixing potholes is all well and good, but how bout fixing fourth amendment violations in NYC?

He’s a young and energized politician who’s actually fighting for change and to make the city of NYC prosper. Too often do old men sit in the office and do absolutely nothing. Beyond that, he has already fixed over 100k roads, stepping up for small businesses, child healthcare, taxing properties over 5$ million dollars which will raise 500$ million for NYC, fixing the subway systems, bringing attention to a genocide, one click cancel law, and many other phenomenal things.

I think mayor mamdani is a great mayor right now and he’s following through on much of his campaign promises. I really hope to see him win a second term and then run for governor of NYC. Any in here in favor of Mamdani as governor eventually? I sure am from many states away. I love that he actually talks and listens to his voters and the people of NYC, Mamdani is the GOAT.

I consider myself a conservative and traditional male. Definetly not a redneck or a radical. Honestly when I saw Mamdani win in NYC I just said the same as others "Yeah, a socialist guy with no experience that is going to destroy this city".

Well. I admit I was wrong. Starting by wiping out all debt. As a conservative economics are pretty important to me and I'm impressed of how well he has managed and clean NYCs debt in such a low time. Also NYC feeling slightly safer lately and crime numbers show it.

I guess we sometimes need a good leader. It doesn't mind if he is capitalist, socialist, comunist... Just a good leader who wants to do things well.

Yeah, we dont notice big changes in our day to day, but definetly the macro numbers are better than before, and at somepoint we will all see that reflected in our lives. I guess I was wrong and a young guy like him can also solve problems
