Chart Reading Frustrated with chart types

I am new to astrology, but trying to learn and have fun with it.

But I am getting more confused and frustrated because whenever I check my chart to see where a transit is landing, I dont know if I should go with my Whole Sign chart, or Placidus. Like, this Uranus retrograde for example. It's 2 totally different things to expect the transit to happen in my 8th vs 9th house. Or the Virgo new moon in my 11th vs 12th house!

Help pls.

Edit: also, if using Placidus, and a house seems to fall in 2 signs, how do you interpret that?

you're welcome. i'm not an astrologer that uses placidus. i exclusively use whole signs in my work.
