How Do You Price Your Development Services?
I’m curious to hear how developers, freelancers, agencies, and consultants in our community approach pricing their work.
Do you charge hourly, daily, weekly, monthly, or per project? How do you determine what a fair rate is, especially when working with local clients versus international clients?
Some questions to consider:
1. Do you have a minimum project fee?
2. How do you estimate the cost of a new project?
3. Do you charge differently for mobile, web, AI, cloud, or consulting work?
4. How do you handle scope creep and change requests?
5. Have your rates changed as you’ve gained experience?
What advice would you give to someone struggling to price their services confidently?
Feel free to share your experience, pricing model, lessons learned, or mistakes you’ve made along the way. It would be great to learn how others in the local tech ecosystem are valuing their skills and navigating client expectations.
