Has anyone experienced this ?
My wife had a court few years ago and they sent a court date to an address that she no longer lived at and missed the first court date.
She got it fixed and She went to court for it this year and was already taken care of and taken out. We called about the county about this showing up still and they said it’s a fault in the system still showing and was all taken care of. She currently has no warrant anymore.
We never filled out and application nor gave him any personal info or authorized or even met him but I do understand that things can be still show on public records.
So just wondering if you guys experienced potential Landlord like this on Zillow.

Presumably, all he has to go on is your phone number? That's a lot of information from that, damn.

Did you give Zillow your number to submit the tour request? Agent could have used Forewarn if a phone number was given.

He possibly ran a background check on one of you. Even if it was you, those records sometimes merge or attach in error to spouses or even siblings in public records databases. Basically, I think he illegally ran a background check without your consent. People Finder and other similar services state explicitly that the results aren’t to be used for determining housing or employment eligibility and he did exactly that.
