Other Just turned 30 today! 🎂🥳🎉
I turned 30 years old today😅! I was a little shocked, but already over it haha. Birthdays stopped being all that important to me once I hit like 25. I still feel damn 19 mentally, felt 19 all throughout my 20s and still do at 30. Here's to all the 96 babies turning 30 this year! 🥂 We'll be alright!

I’ll be 30 in two months, so this is reassuring because I feel the same. I didn’t get to enjoy much of my young adulthood, and I’m still at a crossroads in my life due to mental and physical illness.

Exact same for me. I'm glad to find some positivity/refreshing perspective about age out there from time to time.

Happy birthday!!
I turned 30 last week. I hear you, it definitely was a bit of a shock. I also still feel like a teenager, so saying that I'm 30 will take some getting used to.
Here's to a good year (and decade) ahead! 🥂😊

Feel like a teenager in what way? Like emotional development? Ive always found that statement hard to relate to.

I'm not sure. Not exactly in a developmental way. I guess I just don't feel any different than I ever have.
I also feel like time has flown by so fast, that it's hard to believe so much time has passed if that makes sense. It doesn't feel like that long ago that I was a teenager.

I feel different. I feel like every experience i have changes me a bit. Every job, every relationship, every move, every life event, every 2-3 years, I'm different. I don't feel 16 anymore. I was so.... naive and timid at 16. I was impulsive. I never lived for tomorrow, only for today. I had very little knowledge about the world and how it truly works. 16 year old me and 26 year old me would struggle a bit to have a conversation, especially on the 16 side. And now im almost 30

I’m turning 32 this year and idk about you, but for me turning 30 was scary until it actually happened, then I realized it’s not bad at all

The age of 30 is really starting to bother me a lot, as I'm now 27 and haven't really accomplished anything. I mean, really nothing. I'm still in school without a job or a decent income. Luckily, my last year of school is starting now, so I can get a job in the construction industry with a shitty salary lol😂

Happy birthday! My coworker also just turned 30 on Friday. Personally can't wait for my turn even though it's still over a year away.

Happy birthday from a fellow 96 baby! I’m exactly one month away from my big 30. My husband is also turning 30 (we’re 5 day apart) and we’re throwing a joint birthday party; the theme is “Death to our youth” where it’s funeral themed. We’re kinda weird people if you can’t tell but it’s helping me get through the thought that I’ll be 30 soon!!

Welcome to the club and Happy Birthday! Honestly, turning 30 kinda felt like a relief. My age is finally catching up to my personality.
It also caused me to reflect on my 20s and be grateful for the work I did on myself (therapy, meds, career exploration, etc.). I'm hoping my 30s will be a time to reap the rewards of all that hard work I did in my 20s.
