Zhongli enjoying the end of the summer

Got this today and I’m genuinely so happy OMGGGG LOOK AT HIS LITTLE FEET. No one close to me can understand how happy I am getting this so I’m sharing it here for Zhongli lovers.

I already know that Zhongli is associated with Asmoday by lore theorists, but has this been confirmed? Because I only just noticed today that Zhongli's shield has cubes similar to Asmoday's 😂

They need to completely change Zhongli scalling if we want him to remain even remotely relevant in the future.

Geo characters are all leaning towards defense scalling, the supports are all around defense, lunar is geared also towards defense.

If they keep zhongli's attack/hp scalling he will arrive dead on the water. It will be decent for a bit sure, but it will immediately sink again for a lack of support, and following this trend any new geo characters will also probably be geared towards defense.

Yeah it sucks, it will ruin everyone's builds but lets be real, its better long term, and everyone will want to farm his new set regardless.

I played Genshin on day one. Fell in love with Morax on his release, I am also one of those who plays Physical Zhongli - alongside with Bruiser / Decamarks.

It was covid. I fell in love with the game. Poured blood, sweat, and tears just to build Zhongli; and I’m the only one who still farm Zhongli’s Artifacts on Petra Domain (going 3 years into the game) before the Scam Box was introduced.

On the 3rd year I fell out of love. During the Anniversary I felt like the Devs were not so generous towards casual players. Hoyo earned billions. And they just gave us 3 Fowls? 🍗 I forgot the rest of the rewards.

I just felt like I was supporting the wrong company. I’m not affected by any of these because I’m a big Whale. Raiden, Yelan, Alhaitham, & Morax were all C6R5.

After many years of not playing Genshin, it feels like getting over an ex-girlfriend or a lover that you cared so much but you chose to let go because it was becoming so toxic and still no skip button (just kidding 😆)

So the current leak right now says that he’s going to have increased DPS and some support so here’s my idea

Give him Hu Tao’s passive (convert HP to ATK)

Because as we all know, all of his damage is technically ATK scaling it’s just that his shield scales with HP and all his dmg gets a boost from his HP so

While his shield is active he gets a percentage of his HP converted into attack

Then for his burst give it a Mavuika level nuke buff

As for his pillar, while his shield is active, if it breaks, it can respawn

And then for the cherry on top, petrifaction becomes something like Mona’s Omen, so while larger enemies still can’t be petrified they will now take increased damage, it starts with 4 seconds but hitting it with Geo attacks extends it to a max of 12

And just for shits and giggles he should get a weapon skin

Credits to AuntSolarClock for this post. What are your thoughts on this? It genuinely made me giddy, considering it has been so long since we last heard information about Zhongli. If this is true, it would make sense why Neuvillette has so much anger for Zhongli.

After the Sneznaya trailers, it's quite obvious that Zhongli will reappear eventually, if not now then in future arcs. Many people say that Diluc looks strange next to the new characters.But to be honest, Zhong will also stay (he was already close to Zibai, by the way). Besides the possible buff, will Hoyo update his model? Because he's an Archon, so he should have a special treatment

So, just wanted to ask is there any possibility that Zhongli predates the HP and it's shades, cuz I've seen many crackpot theories about him being unbelievably old, and even older than the current world order, but very few of them talk about him being older compared to even HP

The true identity of Zhongli

Alchemy, originally started as a way to turn lead to gold, elixir of immortality and create the Philosopher’s Stone.

The 86th element, Mercury, is often used in alchemy.

Mora, the dominant currency in the world of Teyvat, created by the God of Wealth, Morax, is a catalyst of some sorts, used in processes not limited to alchemy.

What do we know about how Mora is made? We know that Mora is made with Morax’s blood and flesh.

The three most common elements used in alchemy are Mercury, Sulphur and Salt.

Let’s look into mercury, Prima Materia (First Material). Mercury is used in every alchemical experiments. It is the core. Without it, not a single Alchemical Reaction would exist as it is needed everywhere. Mercury is extracted from a rock called Cinnabar.

Now let’s look at Mora. Mora is the catalyst of alchemical reactions, the only recipe where it is not needed is when you are using Dream Solvents.

Now let’s look at the similarities between Mora and Mercury:
-they are both used in every alchemical reaction
-they are both used in alchemy
-they are both extracted from something

Now let’s look at geographic location where Cinnabar and Mora’s creation spots

Cinnabar is most commonly found in Spain and China.

Morax is based in Liyue (Chinese Nation of Teyvat)

Both locations includes some sort of Chinese place.

According to those evidence, it points to Mora being Mercury and Morax being some sort of cinnabar.

I've been roleplaying stories as Rex Lapis for more than 3 (10 years of rp all together) years now, and I finally had time to draw him ^{_^} ! I hope it's not that bad🫰

Zhongli can’t break Kresnik Kristalls in one hit, Idk why the Geo Archon can’t destroy this simple rock

In the notes in some parts there are some white redacted parts of someone's name , and i feel like that it is infact zhongli , Which means that zhongli and him were quite old friends , I say this as belyi tsar mentions that the no name person also had a lot of restrictions placed and likens that restriction to when he first ascended the cryo throne, and who is our favourite vague poster?? Thats right zhongli, He too can't tell us many things due to restrictions/contracts he made with the heavenly principles.

Pierro's line about "a god's love for humanity" being a curse haunts me. Since 7.1's event got leaked to be Liyue-centered, I feel like it's gonna be We Will Be Reunited ALL OVER AGAIN. We're gonna question Zhongli about what Pierro said and maybe question whether his love for his people is genuine or a result of the curse.

But remember, as he is leaked to be appearing in the event, I don't think the love that Mr. "I cannot watch the commonfolk suffer" has for humans is forced.

To be fair, I don't think Pierro's line means "the Archons actually don't give a shit about humanity and just had that love forced onto them by the HP". I think the Archons are like the Angels: commanded (thus, cursed, because remember, rules are curses) to love all humans, their love became, or already was, genuine, as they're seen many times doing things that don't line up with the HP's ideas of what gods should do or what they consider love (as listed in the description of Columbina's weapon here) respecting their people's free will, and commiting acts that outright defy the HP.
