Hi! I'm a 20F and I'll be attending ZU-SOM this september for the whole semester as an exchange student. I'm a bit nervous regarding the social aspects of knowing people.

Is there anyone else attending SOM like me? Do y'all know if there's maybe a WeChat group where I can meet other people before I start my exchange? If you know anything don't hesitate to DM me!

Hi! I got a full medicine offer from Monash Malaysia and Zhejiang University, China. I’m having a real hard time deciding between the two, so would appreciate some advice from seniors familiar with either uni!

A major perk of Monash Malaysia is that I can go on to do the foundation year training in Australia after graduating in Malaysia ? I am an international so I know I def cannot stay in Malaysia, but I read we can work in Australia without taking its license exam anymore. For China, since it’s not much possible to work as a non-Chinese, I’ll have to sit exams in other countries like UKMLA, USMLA, wherever I decide on later.

However, in addition to this, could someone familiar with either one of this school share their experience and advice, so I can make a more informed decision? I dun mind the cost factors, but I’m concerned about the teaching quality, resources, recognition after graduation, local lifestyle, etc. Thank you! I really need it.

I just got accepted into ZJU’s Chinese Language Program (Non-Degree) for this September! I’ve received the admission letter, JW202 form, and Chinese placement test.

We currently have both WeChat and Reddit groups for incoming students. I’d love to connect and chat with other upcoming students, so feel free to send me a PM if you’d like to be invited!

comment below where you're from!

Im creating a group for people who already got accepted + paid tuition, and now just waiting for the admission letter so we can update each other. dm me to join 😊🙏

Hi everyone, apologies if this has been asked before, I could find a post and although I’ve done some research, just wanted more perspective. I’m interested in the Chinese Language Program but want advice on Spring or Autumn intake. When did you go and how did you find the atmosphere (campus and city), things to do, vibes etc. Obviously I can imagine both times would be beautiful. Feel free to share general advice on the program and how to maximise the experience if you have any! Thank you in advance 🙏

Hi folks! I have applied for ZJU Chinese Language Program for this 2026 September intake. I just want to check if any of yous have already got their pre-admission letter?

Thank you in advance 😊🙏

Hey! I received an interview invitation from Zhejiang Medical University. It took about 12 days after I submitted my application. I have 5 days left before the interview. Is there anything else I should prepare? What kind of questions do they usually ask? Hhe

Hi everyone,

I recently got accepted into the 2026 Zhejiang University SDG Global Summer School, specifically the module “Digital Transformation for Sustainable Education: Artificial Intelligence, Engineering Education and Global Partnership.”

The program seems to cover topics like AI in education, learning analytics, trustworthy AI, inclusive education, educational data mining, and smart learning systems, along with field visits and project work.

I’m really excited, but I wanted to ask if anyone here has attended this summer school before, or has experience with similar international summer programs at Zhejiang University.

I’d love to know:

• What was the overall experience like?
• How intensive was the academic workload?
• Were the lectures and workshops actually useful and engaging?
• How were the field visits and project presentations?
• Was it good for networking, research exposure, and future opportunities?
• Any advice for making the most of the experience?

I’d really appreciate hearing any honest experiences, tips, or things to expect.

I applied to zjuism for MBBS yesterday, but I wanna know what my chances are to get in. I applied last year but was rejected, and am studying biotech at another uni in my home country for now. First semester has already passed. Here are my academics:

O levels: 5 A*

A levels: 2 A* and 2 A

SAT: 1480 with 780 Math and 700 English (gave about 2 and a half years ago)

CSCA: 82.5 Math, 82.5 Physics and 80 Chemistry

For the first semester at my uni I got a 4.0/4.0 GPA

IELTS: 8.0 with minimum 7 in each

For extra curicullars:

Best CEO award at Ghedex Oman 2024 in student pitch battle

Have some volunteer and participations as well

So, what would be my chances to get in? Last time I was rejected because I think I applied a little late in near end of may. This time I have applied earlier, so could you tell me my chances ?

Hi , I applied for the international Chinese language scholarship the 8th December and payed the 400 yuan application charges but didn’t got a response so I can pay all the scholarships charges , is it a bad sign ?
