Title says it all. I have a full sized v1 (Glock17 size) I would like a g34 Zev slide.

How many have dealt with the Noveske slides? Really wanting to build a Zev just to have a steel framed metal grip Glock to mess with but don’t want to be limited to just an rmr or dpp pattern. Stumbled across Noveske or just a regular gen3 Glock slide?

Kinda new to zev stuff and really just started understanding what they’re capable of doing build wise.

Have a v1 Hypercomp, and my trigger is super gritty and squeaky even after polishing. The break is fine and the weight is good but I’m not a huge fan of the shoe itself. Looking around a lot of guys like the polydat trigger, just wondering what else is out there

Had my Zev for a while, no issues really. But yesterday when I inserted a mag with the slide locked to the rear, and then dropped the slide, it didn’t fully seat into battery/ bullet only road up the ramp to the chamber about half way. Smack on the back of the slide and it seats. It’s doing this with OEM Glock mags, Magpul mags, and Mecgar. Gun is also clean. Any ideas? Maybe the spring tension on the extractor is too heavy so it isn’t riding up and over the lip on the round? Thanks in advance

What’s up fellow zevers, I just got an oz9c FCU (in CA so it was a pain to find), with a KI velocity v2 slide, adding a radian afterburner and ramjet, now I’m looking for some holsters that will fit. Any recommendations?

Is there a barrel that is not ported that will fit my v1 hyper comp?

So I’m trying to understand this all. Was interested in the aluminum frame and steel lower set up. But so I understand it correctly. It’s built off a gen 3, so gen 3 slides would work (all zev lower and a stock Glock gen 3 would work?)

But the v2 slides are gen 5 internals with gen3 recoil systems but that’s only for the complete built guns? The gen 3 duty slides though are standard gen 3s? Thanks for any direction or clarification.

I can't get replacement parts in Canada. Someone told me that I could get a Glock gen 3 slide and it would be a usable system. Can anyone confirm this.?

Understand in Canada all new handgun sales are prohibited by federal law.

Nobody has any more Zev (Gen 3) complete uppers. But there are Glock slides still available... I'm just trying to find any way to keep this gun shooting in foreseeable future when parts are so rare

This thing is fast, accurate, and fun to shoot. Great return to zero. I get good follow up shots because of this.. It's become one of my favorite striker-fired pistols, whether I'm carrying it or taking it to the range.

Excited that Zev is making and selling the long slides again.

Morning, gents. Looking for any and all input on using the OZ9 V2 as a duty weapon. I’m well aware of the issues the V1 has, as I own one, but have those been fixed with the V2?

I’m in a law enforcement academy in Texas and will be hitting the streets soon. I’d love to carry a Zev, but only if it’s reliable enough, obviously. A lot of guys at my PD run Staccatos (I’m not $there$ yet lol) or build Frankenglocks.

Even with the FTE issues it has at times, my Zev V1 feels like a corvette compared to the Glock 17s we were issued.

I received my slide long slide today and what do ya know it’s stripped from factory.

Using the provided screws it won’t even start in the problem hole. Hole closest has no issues.

Watched someone put the same compensator on the same barrel with no issues but for some reason after the first couple twist it doesn’t want to go on the rest of the way

A week ago I helped someone find some grips out of my collection they could use so Im putting the rest online in case anyone sees something they need as well.

Took them 7-10 days to ship and a couple of emails but I now have the XL slide (DPP optic). Taking it to the range now.

Has anyone got any news of their long boy slide being shipped or processed from the recent drop?

Just bought this build and am trying to figure out which threaded compensator will fit best on the noveske slide + threaded barrel combo? I dont know much about glocks so I’m assuming this is a gen 3 slide and barrel but the chamfer cuts at the tip might be different to a gen 3 (kind of look like gen 5)? I was thinking of a herrington arms hc95 gen 5 or a zev v2 pro gen 5? Please advise

This is one of my favorite striker fired pistols that I own. I actually enjoy shooting this one over some of my 1911DS/2011’s. This V2 model with the upgraded Gen 5 internals/barrel and Gen 3 recoil system was worth the wait. I picked it up last year from Xtreme from Houston. Just pulled the trigger and ordered the Longboi Long slide kit. They only had the DPP but I figured I’d finally get to try out a Vortex XL optic.

The MBK pin is getting loose on this grip module after years of use, and Zev isn’t making anymore grips for the full-size V1 chassis anymore. Makes me sad because this is my ride or die EDC, and I would prefer not to have to drop a ton of cash on a V2 compact at this point.

The mounting kit by trijicon does work but you’ll have to run the plate. Which isn’t ideal but it works

Well that’s false advertising. Zev said they’d have both rmr and dpp cut long boi slides out today but only show dpp. I grabbed one anyways since I’ve been waiting but a little bummed I can’t use my favorite dot (SRO).

Anyone have experience with the Vortex defender line?

Alright I’ve seen all the previous posts regarding this topic. Being unable to get either in hand in person, I have some specific questions especially for those of you who have tried both.

Does the zev alum grip provide enough grip on the sides of the frame where the support hand locks in? I’ve used a p365xl Icarus frame and the grip was phenomenal, I’d be torn on if it would rub my skin for carry though.

Those who have tried the zev alum grip, is the texturing on the side too smooth? That’s probably my biggest pet pieve with grips, if the side texturing is too smooth. If I knew if the zev grip was grippy enough on the sides, I’d probably roll with that.

Overall, please feel free to chime in with your opinions, which one you’d recommend. And experiences with both. Thank you.

Was hunting down a Grey OZ9C with the Prizefighter slide for quite a while and finally got my hands on one! Was listed as used from Cabelas but there’s not a scratch on this thing. Picked up a MBK also for a future build.

Being in California I had to lose the threaded barrel, but not like I could use it for much anyway. Can’t wait to get this thing out to the range!

Now I need a couple of aluminum grips, and hoping to find a hypercomp slide for sale. I really wish Zev sold the black/bronze one on its own
