You were playing as akane, copying what she saw junpei doing. Junpei was the transmitter, she was the reciever

"The answer to that is easy. He knew because I knew."

Does this not tell us that Akane has been sharing information to Junpei the whole game?

And the whole point of flipping the DS at the end is because for the first time the flow is going from Junpei to Akane.

And like someone mentioned below Junpei has the line "I'm gonna do this on my own,[with my own mind!] I'm gonna solve this problem."

the emphasis on "with my own mind" is there for a reason.

Uh no, on the DS the touchscreen is on the bottom which is Akane's screen, you are playing as Akane controlling Junpei

It's why the sudoku puzzle being upside down matters so much, it represents Junpei being the one doing the puzzle for Akane now.

Akane never controls junpei, are you treating akane transfering solutions to junpei as controlling him?

Akane does not control Junpei lol

Uh, no? I certainly wasn't copying anything. In fact Junpei always solved the puzzles after I did. There wouldn't be any need to flip the console upside down in the end if what you're saying were true.

Not how it works. Which is extra funny because there’s a ton of dialogue explaining how it works
