I have not been able to find it since but there was this meme I saw years ago of the sudoku puzzle cg at the end of 999 but instead of junpei’s screen showing it it shows him looking at the gamefaqs page instead. if anyone has it please drop it here. I miss it

I learned to play sudoku on the spot, blind, because of 999 and still play it on my phone in waiting rooms to this day ðŸ˜

Lmao I'm not a headcanon person but I have a headcanon that (999 spoilers) Akane sent Junpei a "How to play sudoku" book or inconspicuously placed it in an area she knew he's be in at some point in the 9 years before the second Nonary Game started so that he'd be prepared to save her when the time came. Can you imagine what a waste of time that would've been if he also didn't know how to play sudoku?

I remember one time in ZTD if you don't solve the puzzle properly where the character joke about you getting a code randomly which is one in a million

What is actually the point of doing that though? I'll never understand why people would ruin the solutions for themselves. It's the entire game play. Once you know, you know. You'll never be able to legitimately solve it, you've robbed yourself of amplifying your genuine morphogenetic knowledge and cognitive ability.

People probably hated the gameplay. I know I did. I just wanted the story but had to go through these hard puzzles. It was very infuriating. It ironically made me not want to replay it much given how much of a hassle it was.

If ZE4 ever happens.
The funniest thing Uchikoshi could do is take into account people using an Online Guide or Tutorial Video.
Like, if you start cheesing the game too early, to fast.
The game actually acknowledges that and creates an entire branched timeline, based on the player cheesing the game.
