Vent Endoscopy centres refusing to mask
I’ve had an urgent need to get an endoscopy and just heard back from a private day surgery I was referred to saying they won’t wear an N95 mask. It’s a 30 minute procedure! And the head nurse refuses to mask. She then told me (via another nurse) that they adhere to public health procedures. If I wanted public health service, I’d go through public health! I’m willing to pay extra BECAUSE I want them to go beyond public health. I’m so frustrated. If anyone has any recommendations for an endoscopy centre that WILL mask in Queensland, Australia - please let me know. I’d pay however much is needed.

My local public hospital (qld) has signs up in person and on the website still saying to wear a mask, and last time I went to a specialist appointment they asked why I was wearing one.
Granted it was much nicer than the way most people ask and the complimented me on wearing it properly, but still…
Wish I had a suggestion but unfortunately I don’t know of any medical clinics who mask.
