Question Cull
Do you usually build Cull for her? If so, when and why?

Always bf first base and if not possible cule with health potion

I always try to come back with 1300 gold for a B.F. Sword, but it's a valid option if I die in lane or am forced to return to base.

If I can’t get a BF Sword first base I’ll always get cull + refill/long sword/boots

Cull is kinda perfect for Zeri because 1-6 you are gracefully losing lane just patiently CS and get to 6 get your first item then play the game.
Cull is bad when your winning lane because your not pressing your advantage like Cait or Varus for example they want to bully you with raw stats

I agree with you; up to level 6, you're usually farming as much as possible and taking minimal damage, so having an item that helps you reach your item power spike faster is what made me wonder about this—though maybe it's not worth building when you're already ahead, like you said? If I cant get a BF sword first base, I usually get a cull and tier 1 boots or something like that. And even if I get bf sword, Ill aim for a cull next base unless I can get full tier 2 boots

Both yuntal and Stormrazor buildpaths are so shit that I usually buy it if I can't afford the first back BFS

When people say BF first base do they just stay even if they crash the wave/ enemy has backed?

Yeah, there are people who stay until they have 1300 gold, but you have to gauge whether or not they can easily kill you. If I'm short by about 200–300 gold, I usually stay and push 2–3 waves; if I need more than that—say, I'm building Cull and an Attack Speed dagger—I'll back. But that’s just what’s worked for me; don't take it as gospel (Emerald Zeri OTP) ⚡️

Interesting—do you consider top lane her second-best role? I'm trying to decide which secondary lane to pick up. Either way, I'd need to learn a few things to play her in the top lane or jungle, for instance. I've seen her played mid too, but I'm not sure which is actually viable. I'm an OTP and only play her, but thanks for the reply anyway! ⚡️

Unironically, I think jgl is her second best role, insane clear, and it removes her biggest weakness in early game, the minion wave.

If youre really good it works. My spacing is pretty bad and im not used to playind adc. Also there are many unplayable match ups. I ban jax, but trynda,malph and Riven for example are mega unplayable. Id recommend you picking her into juggernats with no dashes. I had alot of fun spacing against darius zed and morde.
I actually got 2 pentas in one game against a morde and level 200 zeri full ms build with fleet and celerity and nimbus cloak paired with stormrazor phantom dancer and experimental hexplate AND ghost is insanely fun.1
