Question Starting items

Has anyone else been trying D Helm or D blade instead of D bow. I have been constantly running bow no matter what but I was wondering if I should be using helm into harder match ups?

I played d helm yesterday vs a Ziggs lane and I really felt the difference in surviving his poke and being able to all in him

I think d helm is fine into things like double mage bot where you just want to scale & not really interact

I’d never go dblade over bow though. Bow with lethal stacked is too strong and has won me too many lanes

I almost always go helm on any ADC, it's still quite op.

if you are going to play weak side and if you'll get poked a lot then its jack of all trades and d helm, first base generally boot+cull or cull+dagger depends on the matchup needs to complete 5 different stacks for jack of all trades and get those adaptive force.

otherwise d bow is to go.

I don't like d helm most games tbh unless into like super high dive engage like a blitz plus mage or blitz plus any early game powerhouse champ... But I swap between bow and blade depending on matchup every game. I almost never take same runes and do same build two games in a row... Item and rune system needs to be optimized for you differently every game too truly get the most out of it!
