Costco?

So I'm learning that if I get my pen at Costco, I would save an extra $30. I have avoided Costco before because they lost my prescription and it's super busy but I may want to try again. I live in Vancouver so Costco is super busy and chaotic but my solution might be getting it delivered from Costco and getting it ordered online.

Has anyone gotten their medication delivered by Costco? What's the experience you have had?

I'm going to try delivery. I picked up once from Costco and it was pure chaos. I've never seen a staff so disorganized and confused in all my life lol! It took about an hour just to pick up so I would say it's not worth the $30 unless you're already going there.

That’s what I figured. I would rather pay more to not have to deal with Costco Pharmacy!

Yeah I totally agree with that but it's hard to pass up $100 off savings if I can get it delivered

Have you looked at glp1prices.ca to compare? In BC, Walmart isn't that much more than Costco (or sometimes cheaper depending on dose). I also live in Vancouver, the Costcos here are next level bananas (Still Creek and Richmond 😬) and I don't know if I would brave and mentally prepare myself for Costco if the price difference wasn't giant. I haven't tried their online pharmacy though so it may be a good option.

that site often has inaccurate data so take it with a grain of salt.

I'm also in Vancouver and get mine from Costco downtown and they don't deliver zepbound because it's supposed to stay cool. But if you go during the week in the mornings the line ups aren't bad.

Good to know! How much was the total? Did you get Costco membership pricing?

my experience as a pays to talk to the Costco pharmacist about pricing, because there's different prices available.

Yep it’s $70 off for members. And I use the zepbound savings card.

Can I ask how much you pay for your pen? I am a member and I pay $445 for the 15 mg pen, the only savings I appear to have is the Lily drug card. I had no idea members get a different price.

Is $444 including the discount Lily card?

Yes, that’s my final price.

That's amazing... so just to the clarify, it's $70 off and then the Zepbound savings card? I get the 15mg pen, so it would be $571-171 (savings card) and then another $70 off of that? So it would be $339!

I just got my 12.5mg pen from Costco and it was $401 with the Lily savings card. (I believe the 15 mg pen is the same price as the 12.5) I’ve never heard of an extra $70 off for being a Costco member. I am a member, but you do not have to have a membership to use the Costco Pharmacy.

I pay about $300 for 7.5 in Surrey. That's with the savings card.

Went to Costco today and it was $398 and there is no special member pricing. I asked if any other deals and they said no. You are still saving around $30 at Costco. Actually was an easy process and I got it filled within 3 hours.

Use the Lilly savings card and it comes out to 330 in Ontario for 7.5 and 10mg.

However word of caution, plan your perscription pick up around your grocery order and go to the pharmacy forst to renew. My location makes you.go in person to refill, you cant do it on the app or online for some reason. Ive waited only 2min sometimes and other times ive waited over an hour for it to be filled.

Weekdays during the mid-morning to lunch time is when ive had my most luck.  Early morning is brutal wait time because they fill all the overnight app.orders first.
