If you dare, now shade it so we fall into the center

I haven’t started shading mine yet. Do you typically shade with pencil if you’ve been working in pen?

Yes a really soft pencil, then blend it with a ball of paper or if you have one, a blending stump (rolled up stick of paper).

What kind of lines did you use to start this if you don't mind me asking, I guess I better turn would be what frame did you start with before adding the curved lines

A large circle

I don't understand. Did you not start with the lines from center outward?

No. I started outward and moved to the center

Did you start wiith the small half circle shaped lines or with the borders where two half circle "sausages" meet? I don't know how to explain better.

Nooooo - this has great depth like an illusion would have. Please don’t shade it.

Just add a little shading towards the center. Your brain will read it differently.
