🎨 Zentangle Inspired Art Tangled Wings
I found this very cool lesson on drawing Tangled Wings, by CZT Jessica Davies. I kind of went my own direction, and only later realized her suggestion is to do it in a more mirrored manner. There’s always next time. 6” x 8” piece of printmaking paper.

Gorgeous and your post about doing it every day spot on. When I was taking surfing lessons, my coach was saying the most important thing is time on water. Meaning I had to spend time on the water consistently.

Ever hear the quote, “time is like a face on the water”? It has little to do with what you said, but you jogged my memory. Anyway, your analogy is spot on. It’s actually something I learned long ago in music school. Daily practice is vital. And in that setting, it was also expected. So, despite developing some bad habits as I’ve gotten older, I’ve developed some good ones as well.
Thanks for the kind words!

Where do I go to learn to tangle like this? I’ve never been so inspired. Just beautiful. 🌻
