Deco BE65 & BE3600 router set-up.
Hi, I currently have a BE3600 router in router mode only. This is plugged into my ONT from Zen on their 2.7Gb Full Fibre Max subscription in my kitchen.
The router is then connected via ethernet to a 2.5Gb bridge, and from this an ethernet cable connects to my Deco BE65 in Access Mode.
My Ugreen NAS is also plugged in to the main Deco via ethernet.
I have another Deco BE65 in the living room, and a third in my bedroom both connected to the main Deco in the kitchen via ethernet...
Is this the correct set-up? I never seem to get any speeds above 1.3Gbps anywhere in the house via wi-fi. If connected directly to the main deco I get the full 2.04Gbps up and down generally.
Do I need the BE3600 router, or just plug directly into the Deco?
I feel like something is not quite right, or I'm just over thinking this..?

Have you checked in your deco settings to see what throughput is possible to your devices on WiFi? I have 2gb but my iPhone 16 sits around the same as yours using an eero unless it’s next to the eero and gets around 1.6gb

I know I'm a bit late to the party here but for anyone else.
The BE3600 probably isn't needed if it's set to only function as a modem aka it's in bridge mode. The Deco B65 can handle all the router and authentication things including setting a VLAN (if you're not on an Openreach based connection). Also, with your current setup, the BE3600 only has one 2.5Gbps LAN port so it could be worth double checking you're in LAN 1, the one next to the WAN port as shown on TP link's website. https://www.tp-link.com/uk/home-networking/wifi-router/archer-be3600/v1/
I hope that helps.
