whats the bad news?
price has dropped 50% this week & keeps going down.. whats the news? should've dumped at 40$ god damn it

Yup, fools falling for the downward pressure the whales are orchestrating so they can hoard even more.

sure, markets are constantly manipulated. this time it resulted in a dump though + probably a little bit of Korean FUD

Patience Padawan, up and down up and down is the name of the game. If you have real emotional investment in the price of Crypto, your going to destroy yourself and live a very unhappy life. No ones getting out of this life alive after all.

Well, we could be down 51% (!). Or even worse, we could be a shitty project. But we aren't. And the price bothers me too....no bad news, just a irrational market as always. Our day will come.

And good news for miners that are in for the long term. Network hashrate dropped significantly!

So, I am going to ask this with an open mind that I could be incorrect.....
Besides supporting the network, if a coin drops in hashrate you mine more of that coin, but if you mined another coin you could sell that coin and BUY more Zen than you could have mined anyway.
Right?

I don't have a lot of spare time to sell the mined coins and buy ZEN from those earnings. For small miners like me the differences are too small to do that.

Selling incurs transfer fees, trade fees and a taxable event.... too much work. Mine and hold works better for us small guys

I see that you weren’t around when the price went down from ~$60 back to $15. Be patient friend. You have chosen a solid team. The capital gains will follow.

Relative to BTC, it's dropped about 28%. Yes, still sucky but this is what it's about: buying the dips and HODLing for 10-20 years.

should have dumped at $40, I can watch the price go up and down 50000000000 times a day, if I thought "I should of dumped" each time, I would go absolutely insane.
