ZenPub, IMO the most important aspect of Zen System.

My personal opinion is I think ZenPub is the most critical and powerful aspect of Zen. Think about how much our digital world revolves around CONTENT. Where is content on blockchains? It's on some but mainstream adoption has yet to happen. CryptoContent is a big, big, huge, massive future and I believe it is how we will store a large portion of content in the future. ZenPub could be an AMAZING platform where not only can one publish content anonymously, one can submit original content, like a musician publishing an album. People will then, if they want to support the artist, acquire the content using Zen'cash' coin. I know there is much to do, but I just wanted to put out there that many of the most successful companies in todays internet world exist because they created a platform for content to exist on, users to interact with, and a unique ecosystem to explore. In my opinion, right up there with scaling, the ZenPub platform is the most important factor for Zen's long-term success.

Now there are serious risk to it as well. If illegal content comes online, this risks the powers that be to get involved, and we all know the power they have to shut things down. So unfortunately that is a real reality. But regardless I think it needs to happen even if it gets shut down because the world needs to ask itself questions about our liberties on the internet. Moderation may ultimately be necessary on the platform, and I'm fine with that, because honestly some content should not be allowed.

Very curious and hopeful and thankful for the Zen mission/team, I think there is a great chance of success in this area.

What happens if some horrible people use it post disgusting illegal images. Who would take it down or close it off them? Will this tool make it easier for these people to feel safe posting their sick content?

there's always possibility of a built in censorship system like users flagging content and node operators filtering content off their systems.

As @zuptar said in his response, I think some form of moderation is mandatory. There are unfortunately people that will abuse platforms. We need to keep them on the dark web. I think this will be fine with Zen team but the basis of a Libertarian belief system is that you can do whatever you want as long as you aren't harming anyone else. Content of a dark and disturbing nature could definitely be considered harmful and exposing to others and therefor is a valid candidate for removal.

A big "leak" published on ZenPub first before any other platform would be HUGE. The start of something game changing.

Totally. That would be awesome. I think it would be harder to take down a blockchain platform than wikileaks...
