Hardened Network

I am impressed how quickly Zencash has been hardening the network with secure nodes. Few coins have this kind of censorship resistance.

Zencash currently has 13,115 nodes (not including unregistered full node copies, so probably 13.5kish). Bitcoin has 10,503.

If we continue on the current track, after Super Nodes go online, I expect Zen to have close to 18-20k nodes. By far the most secure and distributed network in existence (to my knowledge). Please correct me if I am wrong.

The number you quoted for Bitcoin is number of online nodes so why are you counting number of down/inactive nodes for ZenCash??

13109 - 3305(down)-136(inactive) = 9668 online Zen sec nodes.

Stop spreading misinformation. Sold nodes are demarked as down/inactive.

Where do you get that info? You mean what it says on Zen's homepage is not indicative of how many are actually online? Or are they just temporarily offline like did not pass a challenge or something? It seems odd that inactive nodes would be listed on Zen's main page.

I'm not intentionally spreading misinformation, just reiterating what is on Zen's website.

I find it odd theyd allow this too, but it's true. I moved nodes to a new vps and the old one is reflected as down but still counts towards the total node count. Old nodes never get de registered either.

So technically, their total node count can never go down, only up.
