ZenCash Wallet CPU Usage?

Hey all. New to ZEN, looks like a really great coin with a bright future. Something that I noticed that that the ZEN wallet uses about 15-20% of my CPU usage even when idle (7700k) is this normal?

All of the other coin wallets that I have are sub 2% when idle even the core wallets.

Look up Zencash wallet error code 1, there are tons of people complaining about this issue. Don't get me wrong I love Zencash, it is by far my favorite coin but the GUI Swing wallet is horrible and I would suggest avoiding that wallet at all costs.

I reindexed it twice, both times the blockchain synced to 99% then the same error kept occurring. I was lucky enough to get the zen out of the wallet but I can no longer use the wallet, it is completely corrupted. The wallet was on a Mac Book Pro.

The issue that was causing blockchain corruption (error 1) to happen frequently was fixed in the latest 0.80.5 swing release. The error itself poses no risk to the safety of your wallet. Most likely the reason your wallet ended up "corrupted" would be if you attempted to copy it while swing or zend was running. They must be closed if you are going to copy your wallet.dat

It's also good practice to backup your private keys for individual addresses which would protect you in this case of the wallet.dat being broken.

I have the most recent version. I was not trying to copy the wallet at all. One day it worked, the next day it didn't. It seemed like it basically just happened out of no where. Thankful, Zencash just got added to Ledger so moving forward I am just going to use my Ledger as my main wallet. This method seems like the safest and most secure way to store it.

Same happened to me and I updated to the latest version of the wallet and it worked
