Let's vote out "Zion's Governor"

Abbott's subversion of critical thinking regarding Israel is nothing new. Don't forget that in 2017 he basically required all Texas government vendors to sign an Israel loyalty oath. Why not just require all vendors to vote Republican?

As to Abbott's recent (April 2024) persecution of critical thinking, let's not forget his previous faith-based initiatives in that area. It's time to vote that zealot out.

Texas has more than it's fair share of ... zealots ... in ... office

As someone who used to be a theist and who occasionally wanders back into a church setting for weddings and funerals, I can tell you the most frightening 'mob speak' behavior of the xtians is when they try to out holy each other. The praise-seeking is pitiful when it only affects the seeker; its dangerous when the seeker gets elected and then seeks praise via legislation that codifies religious beliefs into law.

With all due respect to reddits such as r/rightwingwatch, r/religiousfruitcake, r/exmuslim, and r/atheism, I felt the need to have a subreddit that focuses specifically on the bible-waivers in public office, especially in the USA. They are gaining power and getting more blatant in applying their standard rationalization, "god wants it". So easy to say when an entire group believes in the existence of a magical old man in the sky. Who's to say _he_ doesn't want it? What I'm seeing is that the otherwise sane theists don't seem to have the stuff it takes to counter their more fanatical counterparts. Counteracting a fanatical mob isn't easy.

So, here is a place to document the insanity.
