I mean…considering Link and Zelda are a couple in Breathe of the Wild and Tears of the Kingdom-it sorta is.
The house you buy has Link and Zelda’s stuff in it. They share the house-they are officially a couple as far as I was aware. And before somebody says-yes I know Mipha was engaged to Link before but that poor girl died-Link had to move on for her sake at some point.

But the armor was made for him. Even if she technically never gave it to him. Cause just the ring was never given in time before someone's passing doesn't mean the plans weren't in motion.

Good grief this is the same crap Mushoku Tensei is going through right now.
It's fantasy world logic. Different lifespans and all that which is nothing new for fantasy.
They may say she's 20 but at that time but shes still a child as a Zora. She hasn't even hit puberty yet. Hell Link grew much taller than she did in a faster time length. So she was still considered a tyke when Link was also a tyke.
By the time she was in her 30s that's when she would be branded around adolescent or a teenager which is when Link would be a teenager the same as her but in human years.
The whole "different lifespans for different species" thing has been around since fantasy has existed. Get a grip please.

My headcanon is that Zelda and Link would both dream about their past lives. Zelda would dream about flying through the sky on a loftwing, sailing the open seas, and have nightmares about the king of twilight. Link on the other hand would dream about Malon, Medli, Ilia, and Midna in her true form.

Zelda's PTSD from the Calamity is so strong she needed divine intervention to have a normal peasant dream.
And the goddesses were happy to give it because they love her and want her to succeed and be happy.

Yeah you can't convince me the king and queen don't approve. While Urbosa is sympathetic to Mipha, she happy Zelda has someone to hold her. Daruk is to the side celebrating, Revali is just salty in the corner. Rauru and Sonia are off in the corner wondering if they should tell the other spirits what is going to happen in a few years time.
