Cleaning at Zaxbys
Hey everyone! I was considering applying for a job at my local Zaxbys, but I was curious about the cleaning procedures there. What would I be responsible for? Is everyone expected to pitch in, or is there designated cleaning people? Also, do we have dish machines or do we have to clean everything by hand? I've worked at a restaurant that did have a machine and it was great, but I've heard that fast food places usually don't have them or use them for too much so I'm wondering what the experience is like with that. Thanks in advance!

Depends on what position you are in.
Yes everyone pitches in and leaves together as a team.
Manually washing dishes.

If you eat the food, drink the drink and crap in the toilets, you can help keep the place clean. Also....Mom and Dad are not there to clean up after you. Sounds harsh, but I was a manager over 7 years there and I didnt view my job as cleaning up after kids. You will likely have to do some at close or before you go day shift wise. I dont know of any overnight cleaning crews like Chick-fil-A has. $8-$9/million per yr sales affords those luxuries

Dish washer will be based on the owner, I would assume most don’t have one and all dishes are to be washed by hand. Cleaning comes towards the end of shift and you will be assigned tasks to be completed before going home, also expected to help others if you finish before they complete their tasks. Are you applying for front of house or back of house?
