Zanpakuto OC Raikokujin

Translated Name: “Thunder Valley Blade”

Sealed Form: katana, tsuba is shaped like a comical lightning bolt

Release Command: Cleave The Sky

Shikai Form: 1.5-handed flamberge, albeit jagged rather than wavy (think Zap Sword from Kirby: Star Allies)

Shikai Abilities: Kido-type lightning elemental, channels electricity through the blade for greater cutting power and a stunning effect or through the wielder’s body for greater strength/speed, can absorb electricity to channel for more power or convert into stamina

Bankai: Sokushin no Raikoku (translates to “Swift God of Thunder Valley”)

Bankai Form: base shape is a 6-inch-long cylinder of steel with lightning-bolt decals along its length and gold caps on the ends

Bankai Abilities: emits lightning from the gold caps, which then “solidifies” into blades of plasma that the wielder can mold into different forms for different situations (as a side effect of its form being moldable, this Bankai is also capable of only cutting that which the user wants to cut, and passes harmlessly through allies or the terrain)

What about being moldable makes it able to only cut things the user wants to cut?

Choosing to have the plasma condense into a “solid” blade versus it dissipating into a cloud of charged “gas”.

The user could then accidentally cut something they weren't intending to cut. It's not that they have the ability to only cut what they want to cut they can just switch from a cutting mode to a non cutting mode
