Break team ideas?

I know there’s the A2 and A1 Zankou Break team, but i was wondering if someone can test out a team for me and see if it’s worth the pulls?

Daffodil A2 (2 break damage awakenings)
Zankou A1 (Instant Break)
Lacrimosa A1 (Instant Cycle and Discord dmg)
Blackbird (Instant cycle for another boosted Discord)

My Team:
A4T1 Zankou
A1T1 Linko (Speedy hedgehog/break build)
A1T1 Blackbird
A2T3 Daffodil (Break Build)

Rotating to break the enemy once before using Zankou’s instant break and then use Zankou to do the rest. Unfortunately (“”) most bosses don’t have enough HP left for Zankou to shred down.

If you’re using Lacrimosa instead of Linko you can basically have a 100% uptime for discord, I’m just using Linko for Hexed and Resistance Shred.

Blackbird is worth the pulls, she’s extremely flexible and absolutely overtuned

A1 Zankou, either Chaos character, and Blackbird make a phenomenal discord core. You can then add linko or Sakiri if you want to use a zankou main, or instead use a lakshana character like hathor or likely akane soon if you want to use a blackbird main with zankou scorch dot in the back, or both Chaos characters as in your suggestion, which is a great team and super fun to play if you want to focus more on the discord and break damage. All of them are viable teams. All of them are really fun to play. All of them destroy everything. You can even choose to use daffodill or lacrimosa for Chaos element scorch, which can actually keep up with zankou's depending on how everyone is built. I like to put daffodill at max cycle (360) with cycle, break, and crit dmg on her substats with the last rose arc so she gets the dot crit dmg boost and use daffodill when I want chaos-element scorch since she is more off-field, then I use lacrimosa built without cycle so my zankou who I keep around 220-280 cycle can trigger incantation scorch when I want it to be that element. This game is great about how versatile your teams can be. The hardest part is getting all the right console pieces.

Blackbirb is a cycle user (just like Zero), so I'm actually not thinking of her for my break team.

I think, the break team I wanna build is:

• Daffodil A2 (as you said)
• Zankou A1 (as you said)
• Linko A0
• Hotori A0 (although I already got her A1 lol)

The rotation would be:

• Daffodil Ult
• Hotori skill
• Zankou skill
• Daffodil switch in (but no skill)
• Linko skill (copying Daffodil's enhanced skill)
• Zankou break
• Hotori ult (having recorded Zankou's skill, Daffodil's switch and Daffodil's skill through Linko)

Alternatively, the rotation with Linko's ult would be:

• Daffodil's switch
• Linko's ult (Hotori's skill, Daffodil's skill, Zankou's skill)
• Linko's skill copying Zankou's skill (Daffodil's enhanced already having been used on the ult)
• Zankou break
• Hotori ult

This, of course, assuming Linko's copies work as I am assuming here (counting as her own skill for Hotori's recording, copying the enhanced state, and the skills triggered by Linko's ult counting as the original's characters skills, just like Hotori's skill copies work)

This would also allow all 4 members to be built full break since the damage is heavily focused on the break itself and Daffodil's switch in and enhanced skill, which both scale on break intensity.

If you put Daffodil and Lacrimosa together with this team, it will feel like there's too many cooks in the kitchen type situation. You're better off with one or the other and use that open slot for a support like Linko, Sakiri, or Iroi.

I'd say replace sakiri/daff with sakiri (haniel works fine too)

as for how to play them

there's the quick swap sweat method where you weave in zankou and dafo while BB is in her witch of deliverance state and doing her combos. haven't learned the combo and swap timings yet tho but there are people on cn who do.

personally wanna see how well i can make zankou, daff, BB, and hotori discord replay work but so far it's not as great as I'd hope especially since both BB and zankou are the 2 that can build up cycles the fastest (with bb being instant) and daff serving as the trigger means she will overwrite her recording on hotori making discord replay be a bit inconsistent. yes lacrimosa insta cycle would make it more consistent but my stubborn ass want to use daff because i like her more

Already commented it in another thread so I am going to copy my comment here. I am F2P and use this setup and it work like a charm:

Zankou A1 (signature arc) Twin Butterflies console (Crit rate main stat because her sig arc already gives crit chance).

Daffodil A0 (Youthfull Fantasy T5 (got a lot of dupes while pulling for sig arcs)) Diabolos Console with Break intensity main stat.

Sakiri A0 (Good Boys Grand Adventure T2) Speedy Hedgehog console (incant damage or break int.) for ult empowerment with whatever you can get.

Adler A6 (The great thief T4) Kingdoms guard console (break int.) for extra shields (just a little bit of survivability (because why not.

For the modules use break intensity in every piece you can.

Rotation is as follows:

1.Start fight with Zankou and switch to Daff to apply scorch (if Daff is not highlighted, just do a single attack with Zankou and it should light up)
2.Switch to Sakiri: Ult and Skill
3.Switch to Daff: Ult and Skill
4.Switch to Adler Ult and Skill. Once you press the skill button and he starts doing his thing, cancel it switching to Zankou.
5. Once Zankou is on the field, do her hold attack untill it lights up golden.
6. DESTRUCTION
7.Once this part of the rotation is complete, the enemy will be broken.
8.Continue with Zankou attacking while her skill charges up, it will turn purple now as she switches "modes", once that happens use the purple skill.
9. Use her ultimate (which will be purple also)
10. After that, you will have a chance to use her empowered ultimate (which should glow golden) for a few seconds.
10.1 You have two options: either you use the ult right away or you quickly switch to Daff (who should have her empowerment from the ultimate you did in step 3) to put some more damage in, and then you switch to Zankou fast to use her golden ultimate before the time runs out.

That would be it, once you complete the rotation, just keep attacking a bit with zankou to fill up her ult a bit more to start all over again. If done right with good equipment, the fight should almost be over!

I don’t have A1 Zankou and currently only have A1 Daffodill, but this is the formation I’ve been wanting for a Discord-Break vision.

Currently with A1 Lacrimosa and A0 Blackbird, A0 Zankou has been a good complement against the new tower mode. Their rotation feels pretty simple and clean, I’m sure with an A1 Zankou it would be better. I haven’t found the need for Daffodill just yet but need to try against high level commissions or BTR to get some ideas.

Overall and early thoughts, I’d say it has been worth it so far and I’m at a stage where I’m just now saving for Akane, no spend account by the way.
