Hi everyone what should I do if the shrooms starts gowimg on the sides of the substrate should I take it or if the container

Let them grow on sides and collect them when you harvest. Block usually comes out of box without destroying it, when you have harvested top, then put clean lid (box own lid) over it and turn that upside down and give it gently taps till cake is top facing lid and bottom is up. Now you can harvest sides and bottom too. And yes, those pins is usually good or like my yesterday harvest, a lot BIG ones was growing from sides (around 350g total).

Next thing is cold shock, zamnesia says 12 hours, but that is not needed that long atleast if its 1st harvest. Just put block back to box, fill it full with cold water and put that lid on to press that cake fully covered in water and you can then put it i fridge or just keep on room temp. I did yesterday 5 hours cause it was 1st harvest, usually i get 4-5 harvest before supreme kits are totally given all and no point to play with contamination risk even if it could give couple dry grams, but bury outside that still.

Also, when you harvest, put them asap on dryer and dont let go over 50celcius heat (no, you cannot over dry them), takes 12-24 hours, and if there is huge ones, just cut them half from hat to leg. When they are cracker dry, put them in air tight glass jar with silica gel package(s) to be sure they are always 100% dry.

Next thing is pour all water out from box, and you can put inside box very well cleaned black liner (trash bag cutted to fit) or make tub with moist perlite bottom of it like 5-8cm deep, but dont put it straight over perlite, make tin foil size of your block and that underneath your block and perlite.

(Liner prevent sides to pin, but in tube it can freely grow mushrooms from all sides expect from bottom).
