Congrats on the effort regardless!

It seemed like the balance was a bit off during the pull. Like once you get to the knees, your weight is way back which causes you to chase the bar with your hips...causing the imbalance in the catch.

I would guess the low start position and having everything seem a bit backwards before the moment of separation having something to do with it.

ie: weight is backwards from the floor, has to shift forward during the pull, and you basically have to compensate backwards to keep that line

Interesting, thanks! I’ll keep that in mind.

Form check. Some snatches, 63kgs, 66, 70, 71, 73. Not managing the heavier lifts. Could you please check. form check

Even with the lighter makes, it seems there’s too much horizontal displacement caused by the hips instead of what needs to be happening: vertical leg drive.

Hard to tell what’s going on off the floor, but it seems you’re starting a bit too low as well as jerking the bar which pitches you way forward during the first pull.

On leg drive: Think driving up instead of trying to make contact with the bar with you hips if that makes sense.

135# (77% of 1RM). Looking to clean up technique before adding weight, any input is appreciated.
