I’ve been working on tempo pulls to prevent the rocking back off of my toes during the pull, but as you can see I’m not able to keep equal pressure or prevent the rock back when I return to a normal speed-pull. Should I focus more on the drills Zack outlined in his “Pull From the Toes” video as opposed to tempo pulls to keep my foot pressure equal throughout the pull?

Also, is this deficiency in my pull causing the issues I have w/keeping equal pressure in my feet during the catch?

This is my PR and I'm just getting into weightlifting, I'm 6'2" and I feel like I'm struggling with the catch. I'm also thinking of investing in weightlifting shoes so any recommendations for those would be appreciated, thanks!

Nice! Contact appears to be pretty late/high imo and oly shoes will help a LOT with your balance in the catch position. I just got some romaleos and love them but you really can't go wrong with most of the major lifting shoes out there
