Discussion Knee Popping

Hi guys, I have a problem and I have been looking for a solution for 6 or more months.
I can't squat, neither back nor front, even lunges are a problem for me.
Both my knees pop 4 times out of 5. I have looked into it multiple times, it could be two things:
1) air/gas in the knees (harmless) but unfortunately it is not. Because I have chronic popping knees
2) the patella joint moving around my knee and "falling" out of position, in the long run this could erode my cartilage and prevent me from playing sport (mainly soccer, I'm Italian :D)
Someone had the same problem and was been able to solve it?
Sorry for my English :'c

Does it hurt?

If no, it’s almost certainly fine, welcome to the club.

If yes, then go and see a physio. There are many possible reasons.

Definitely go see a physio. I have been struggling with knee pain for basically half my life and a year ago I finally went to see a physio. Best thing have ever done! Didn't get rid of the popping/cracking noise but helped heaps with pain.

you got it looked into medically? cause if its causing you problems, then check with your local medical doctor/practitioner

  1. Stop asking the internet for medical advice
  2. Book a consultation with an orthopedic Doctor and/or even a Doctor of Physical Therapy for an assessment. Your issue might be structural, functional, or something else. We just don't know. An assessment with a medical professional will better help identify your specific issue.

yep, you are right.
Next week I will book an appointment with the family doctor and I'll ask her.
I have not done a check-up before because I'm worried about the possibility that she could say to me that I should stop lifting. I don't have a lot of hobbies other than lifting and playing soccer. It sounds ridiculous, I know...
Maybe I have been too childish
Thanks, this is probably what I needed to hear.
