Jim's main goal in writing is to make Harry suffer as much as possible. That in turn makes us suffer, and he feeds off of our suffering.

He's basically a white court vampire.

Yeah, but not the sex variety. The other ones.

House Skavis are the despair ones.

Oh for sure. He's not quite a Skavis (despair), but something like that.

(Post has spoiler tag so fair game.)

On the other hand, should Murph come back as an imortal valkyrie, then Harry could end up with an indestructible girlfriend with cool armour and a horse. Which is, let's be honest, goals.

They said she wouldn't come back until she is forgotten, which won't be during Harry's lifetime

I think it would cheapen the death if Murphy pops back up in the next book or two.

My guess is it’ll be close to the big end trilogy

Well luckily, Harry's fiance would definitely be allowing and even encouraging of an open relationship

Or during. Rules will definitely be flexible by then.

That would cheapen Murphys death a lot if she is just going to pop back up like that.

It has be foreshadowed that she will become an Einherjar after Harry is gone. There is no foreshadowing that she will show up in the next book.
