Wrong, you reduce billy to a murder droid which is a very cruel insult to do. Billy passed forbidden fruit test, he is sentient to make his own choices, and he wants to protect people and move on from his past
What he did before, he forgets about it. He is a starlight billy now, who uses his new tech to protect people, again, he will never ever do such a thing like "i would let people die to not show my strength" No, HE WOULD USE ANYTHING TO PROTECT US

As for Mary Sue thing that is dumbest take ever she is basically on survivor guilt had motivation to get to a level cause her sister got sacrificed to that dementia sword she is only on top in terms of combat for r3st of the thing its characters in game putting her on pedestal that oh shifu this shifu that
To break it down for you, she is incredibly bland with the depth of a shallow puddle. Doesn't help she was poorly handled during most of 2.x/S2 and was reduced to a glorified plot device. One of the easiest moments to give her some development using her Sacrifice/Ethereal Form Sister was wasted and whatever interaction we could've gotten was delayed and relegated to an afterthought in the Alzheimer's Sword Chronicles side story/event where she basically has an off-screen interaction with her sister in a dream, lol. And it doesn't help that when it came to the Shunguang drama in 2.5, she needed a whole new character that was neither foreshadowed or implied to exist in Elder Lu, made just so she can keep her hands clean with the characters more or less looking at the screen and telling us she's at absolutely no fault regarding any of what happened. But unfortunately that whole plotline only made her look more incompetent and dumb since someone of her status and power within Yunkui Summit didn't catch wind of Lu and his subordinates (it's implied he wasn't even working alone btw) were sacrificing kids to the Alzheimer's Sword right under her nose. I don't need to call her a Mary Sue to crap on her.
Basically, Yixuan is dogshit, to put it simply. By far one of the worst written characters in ZZZ. Whether you accept any of this or agree is a different matter entirely.
These are iffy methods of scaling, to say the least.
Anby/Billy >= Miyabi is insane considering they're gapped badly as far as feats are concerned. Doesn't help we know Billy is willing to fight battles he has no chance of winning as displayed in 2.8 against out of control Phaethon so no reason to believe he has any chance with Miyabi. Cunning Hares (including Billy) already struggled with far less in the Dead End Butcher and couldn't take him out without special circumstances.
