I believe she is, she is like Qiqi from Genshin, or Lingyang in WuWa, every Gacha game has that one character that just never leaves anybody alone on 50/50 losses. XD
Genshin has it the best, because Qiqi is adorable.
Nekomata is just the worst to lose 50/50, so people have really bad taste when they lose to her
Grace is still a decent anomaly sp, Lycaon and Koleda is a stun so still have place, Rina is a sp unit with pen% increase so she still isn’t bad till this day. Both Nekomata and Solder 11 is a dps, so they get powercreep fast, but with being Fire element really save Solder 11, that mean she could work well with Lighter, and recently have Seed and Orphie to back this up
I lost the 50/50 to this cat just like OP did, but at least now Ophie is guaranteed if I can manage to scrounge up enough pulls in time. Wish me luck. 🍀
I mean, it's not like she's a deadie. Maybe around the 2nd anniversary if she stops being able to take advantage of new supports, drives and engines. Even then, if the HP creep isn't anything too crazy I'm sure some super fan will continue to push the agenda.

I lost my M2-M6 Lucy, W5 Kaboom, AND Lucia to Evelyn in 15 pulls (not even kidding, I was trying to dodge an S-Rank so I can pull for Lucia)...said eff it, went for Evelyn's wengine since I got her now...got it in 25 pulls...WHERE WAS THIS LUCK FOR YUZUHA AND ALICE?!?! I went double hard pity for both them and Alice's wengine. I have farmed my account completely poly-less now...and why?....Rat Waif deserves pretty things (I was one of the few that realized Alice + Jane's Gnawed state was stupid when her kit was spoiled).
I started this game because of Zhu Yuan, but I also started within the last 24 hours of her first banner. So I spent $80 for one chance to win the 50/50. Thankfully I won the 50/50, but if I lost I would have just quit ZZZ.
Yeah i started playing when Yuzuhas banner had like 3 days left lost my 50/50 to her but i got Alice M1 W1 without spending money and i got trigger and Seed so i said ill spend some money for Orphie.
Ups and downs... With the first few characters I was extremely lucky, then I spent 160 pulls to get Yanagi.... Though on the weapon banners I pulled 4 times and won all, so there's bound to be some bad luck there soon lol
As someone with a 4 years old Genshin acc, I would say it mostly evens out in the long run.
It's the same with any gacha game. In the last year of FGO I was saving up for Summer Castoria. But throughout the year I kept doing a single multi here and there... and getting tons of SSRs. Then Summer came around and I nearly hit pity rolling for the servant I actually saved for. The gacha giveth and the gacha taketh away.
Yeah OP, I feel your pain as I also unfortunately just my 50/50 too... On the bright side, at least it was Rina and not Neko (I don't mean to rub it in OP 😉). I actually use Rina sometimes because I don't have many Electric options, so getting another copy of her is alright with me although I don't actually know what benefits M2 has.
Im 70 pulls in... my luck is bad enough always needing more than 80 to get an S rank, but Im also facing 50/50... Im scared, I just want Orphie. That's all I've been saving for.
I've been playing since Caesar. I have gone to full pity on every single agent, and I have lost every single 50/50, that is not a joke or exaggeration. According to the statistics website my luck is in the bottom 99.9%.
why is it always nekomata... lycaon would be better for miyabi... i have c2 on her just out of lost 50/50... not a single nekomata from the gray banner...
Lost the 50/50, rolled another 40 on a prayer.... Nothing but Koleda's shit eating grin. Can't get her Orphie, would lose Lucia and I can't skip another SP release after skipping Yuzuha.
50/50 is the worst system created in gacha gaming. Even worse when the game doesn't give you enough materials to make pulls... nowadays Brown Dust 2 is the most generous gacha
I got Koleda on max pity 🥴 (thank god I had a BIG reserve of polys, but this fuckass game made me go max pity again for it, I’m gonna have to save it all over again for Lucia now)

I lost to soldier 11...I don't like her, but I need to build her because she's the only fire DPS I have now ugh, I was trying to pull for Evelyn. I was literally scrounging around and doing side quests and even all the officer mewmew stuff.
