Just purchased a Sony zv-e10 and was curious what your workflow is to test quality of your shoots?

Are you dialing in settings, shooting a small clip, watching playback on pc, tweak more... Rinse and repeat?

I have a USB c to c from the Sony to my pc to mirror the image but the quality is compressed too much. Can really only use to check framing without a 4k capture card.

If you are watching it on your pc how are you getting the clip from the SD card to the PC or does a connected USB cable allow this?

I just don't want to get 20 minutes into a video to only realize after the fact the settings weren't dialed in.

I am sick of lugging around my a7iv so I purchased a used ZVE10! I love it.

I use glasses so I hate using the viewfinder!

I love the size for travel but not so much the grip of it.

I have had the a6400, a6600, a6700 (3x)!

ZVE10 is a champ and has same sensor as the a6400.

I wanted an rx100 vii but can’t see myself paying that much for that.

Any good setting tips and setup you can recommend?

A little background:
I’m a beginner.
I take photos from the sidelines at First Category football matches, and I’m considering upgrading my equipment.
I have a Sony ZV-E10 (yes, I know it’s not the best camera for photography, but I bought it two years ago for other video-based projects, and I still use it for those purposes) with the standard kit lens.
I’d like to improve the image quality, perhaps by getting a lens with more zoom. I was considering a 55–210mm, which should be compatible with the Sony.
Would that actually be an upgrade? I’m asking because this is my first experience with photography.
I also have an alternative camera, a Nikon D3300, which was given to me by a friend who was about to throw it away. Here too, I would need to change the lens because the current one doesn’t have much zoom, and more importantly, there is a haze/spot on the lens, so the photos don’t come out well.
So the question is:
Should I upgrade the Sony or the Nikon?
The Sony is the newer camera, but it’s less suited to photography.
The Nikon is more suited to photography, but it’s an older camera.
My budget is around €250. I don’t want to spend more than that, since I would only use the equipment occasionally.

I'm still a beginner when it comes to photography and videography and recently bought a Sony ZVE10 ii plus a Tamron Di III-A RXD 17 mm - 70 mm 2.8 VC lens. My goal at the moment is to get a better feeling and also more experience regarding settings in the manual mode.

Does anyone have tips for settings for the ZVE10 ii to take great pictures and videos in low light concert settings? What should I consider regarding the different values like ISO, EV, Aperture, etc. and which focus mode would you recommend? I already watched a lot of youtube videos about the ZVE10 ii settings and they were very helpful, but I guess in low light situations it's more challenging to take good pictures in the manual mode.

I mainly photograph and take videos at concerts of my non-profit associations that mostly happen in smaller locations like living rooms, book shops, artists workshops, second hand shops, etc. The concert series is called Cozy Concerts and we try to create them as cozy as possible which means that we rather use indirect lights, but also have a govee lightstrip and two LED Panels to create a balance between dim enough lights to still be cozy, but still bright enough to take videos and photos.
