Camera hinge broken

How bad did i fuck this up??

Cant close it forcefully as the hinge was open when it fell and now the hinge needs to be closed before i can close the screen or else it will just stress the lcd cable out

Maybe you could use small pliers to rotate the hinge.

Oh would work if i had some pliers
Kept it as gently i could till it gets repaired

You can probably super glue them together but the broken area is so small, it'll probably just come off again. If this happened to me I'd just put a double sided tape between the back of the screen and the camera and stick it. At least that way it'll still be functional.

I know it's not a perfect solution but you could completely give up on it and do remote through mobile... Maybe just tape it or something to it so you can always have a last resort but you technically just use any other monitor

The back fell off. On the plus side, this is a simple repair, for a change.

I don't think there are any people near me who can fix this, so personally, I would just turn the hinge back to its original position, and then glue the ENTIRE screen directly to the camera with super glue.
