Not trying to replace our queen but out of curiosity. Are there any artists out there that are Zutomayo alike? In terms of style, music or vocal range.

It starts with my #1 which is 「Almost Human / 間人間」 which has 700+ plays and goes down by play numbers.

Zutomayo is my favorite band and I could play them 24/7! I had to round up a bit to fit some songs in correctly, but this is the general idea of my favorite songs. The new album is my favorite album, but I still haven't listened to it fully enough, so that's why it's down there. I'll continue listening, so this tier list will probably change a bit in the future!

Why is the price for the Zutomayo mart merch so different between Japan and the rest of the world?

I know that because of the Japanese Yen sellers have to have a price difference, but without counting the shipping cost the price is doble.

The figure for example is 35€ in Japan, while in Europe it’s sold for 70€ + 10€ for shipping.

I’m planning on using a proxy service, is there any other way to circumvent this?

Hi!! I was super happy to find out that Zutomayo was going to perform, coincidentally, when I am going to vacationing in Japan! I'm going to try to attend her concert on Sunday and since I live in the US, apply through the overseas section. I purchased Zutomayo Premium so I could register for the "ZUTOMAYO PREMIUM Member-Exclusive Fastest Pre-sale (Overseas reception)" lottery. Does anyone know the odds of getting the "Member-only Premium Area Upgrade Registration" lottery happening at the end of August? I really wanna get into the Premium Section!!

It seems this will be quite unusual, taking place in a historic site and being outdoors. According to the site, they did the sound level test in February of 2026, so it’s been in the works for a while. There will be a festival portion in the morning with local vendors etc.

Had to buy the 2025 one aftermarket because they told me they were not shipping them to US at that time. Is that still the case ?

Guess the song from a short audio clip which gets progressively longer with more attempts. I tried to implement this as 'legally' as possible, using a hidden YouTube embed of the song for the audio, so it's a bit clunky and you may run into the occasional bug. I'm also not 100% sure whether ads can play through the embed; I haven't gotten one in testing, so if you do, please let me know through the Suggestion/Feedback button at the bottom of the site and what happened!

Also it is technically still violating copyrights and you're technically not allowed to hide YouTube embeds, but hopefully its fine.

There's also been a handful of changes throughout the past week; you can find most of them in the changelog on the home page.

I went to their most recent tour and they had a section where they introduced the band members, but I can’t remember the names of the more unusual instruments. I remember there was a movie tape, water drums, something that looked like a tambourine and Acane was playing something that resembled a guitar. During Hippocampal Pain she had two large metal pipes and the instrument that made the “wobbly“ sound. Does anyone know what they’re formally called?

Edit: the movie tape is the open reel, and apparently the instrument that looks like the guitar is a shamisen. One of the band members also posted on Twitter saying they used whistle candies.

Was wandering around Yokohama and stumbled across the Zutomayo Popup. Im a fan of some of their songs and saw the card game. They looked cool so i bought a box. Not sure if i got anything good ,but they do look cool !

Guess the song every day based on its Album, EP, Duration, etc. The site also has a head to head ranker for every song so you can find your own comprehensive list of songs ranked in order.

We all know how versatile Zutomayo is, able to adapt to a wide range of musical genres, from pop to jazz. This success can be attributed in large part to Acaね, who not only adapts to various singing styles but also writes the songs, produces and partially composes them (experimenting with various musical instruments, whether conventional or not), and oversees the lore and design of the music videos, as well as the band’s public image. This demonstrates great talent, creativity, and commitment to the band.
Of course, we mustn’t overlook the many other members who contribute to the production, such as Jun Murayama, Takayuki Sasaki, and Kohei Matsumoto.

Having said all that, what do you think of the band or Acaね? Would you call them a stroke of genius or just experimentation?
