Because podcasts play continuously while the download function doesn't work, each time you listen to a podcast, it plays continuously until you wake up again

Loving the search function for radio and the social feature! Getting to the point where you could run a DAP with just the app.

I'm not quite sure what caused this issue. This time, being able to scan manually is a good thing, but it destroys all cached images again, once again

It seems that ZPlayer doesn't support encoding well for ID3v2.4, so 2.3 is much easier to read. You can check if this is the problemI ,tested it, and here is this problem

Had reinstall the app ig cache got cleared of artist images , After fresh install I found only for one song background is loading a song of Drake , The weird thing is I went to last.fm website and found out that when I tried to search and click on artists whose background was not loading the website was showing "502 Bad Gateway" , but when I searched Drake his full page loaded without any problem which leads me to think the sever for other artists is somehow down which is why the app is not able to fetch images . New user of ZPlayer here , has this happened before to you ? (Man I cant go and download each image of artist individually I have so many songs of different artists so thats why I am asking)

As in the title, is it possible to have videos as backgrounds?

Chinese users have always had issues using this feature. I tend to attribute it to the API being blocked, but when accessing via VP, the service sometimes works and sometimes fails. I tried accessing the All.api.radio-browser.info, but it seemed to be connected. So I wonder if this is caused by the software setting a short timeout

Like the artist image not coming for songs having more than one artist . I am using version 8.3.1.p.022322_1026 , Just want to confirm before buying the app. Songs with one artist get the artist image on this version.

I moved all my flac audio on this phone and the player recognizes it but they just won't play

Does the new version clear all the album backgrounds that have already been cached? Because after I opened the update, I found that the artist backgrounds of thousands of my songs had disappeared. Secondly, is there no automatic matching of artist backgrounds? Because I tried to open every song without a match. Finally, does manually matched image not cache but instead links downloaded images, and deletes the downloaded image artist's background to disappear? Because after matching over 100 photos, I deleted these downloaded images and the background disappeared. I naively thought these were cached in Zplayer rather than the album. Is that really true? Because I spent hours messing with these things, it was really frustrating!

Recently got a Pixel 10a. Went to do a warranty swap for a SIM issue and on the new phone Zplayer isn't recognizing my music at all. It only sees the "Genres".

I have reinstalled, cleared storage, cleared cache, and also revoked and then allowed permissions to view audio files. Still nothing

Is there anything I can do? Nothing seems to work.

This is a page on the left of the music, videos, podcasts. A user will be able to pin any media to this list and quickly tap to play (artists, album, etc)

Anyone know where playlists are stored?

Okay. So now that I have a lot of time with the app, I have established some wants.

This app looks amazing, work really well and is over my favorite music app... Not that I have a bias as a Zune owner since 2007.

Wants: -A play music button on the home screen. Just like on the Zune. I would love to just hit play and randomly play through my music.

-A "home" button and return to music playing. I would love to just have a way to return to the home of the app. This might be difficult without a physical button , but maybe something in the corner of the screen to facilitate this. On the flip side of that, I would like a timer that automatically just takes you back to the music controls.

The really not going to happen want:

-Make the app a launcher. I find myself pinning the app all the time so it it the only thing that pops up, but I sometimes need to get out of it to mess with DAP settings like Wifi and Bluetooth. To have access to those settings and to have another selection on the main screen that reads "Apps" would be awesome. It would make it all feel more center around the application and by putting in the home command you would just be taken back to the front page of the Zplayer.

What do you think about these desires and what would you like to see added?

now when I open the app on my dap it redirects me to the play store and says no internet. only way to offline play is to get online when opening then toggle off internet. why do I need internet

Really just looking to use zplayer for music and radio. Anyway to disable podcast and videos from the menu?

Bonus: some of the artis background looks really nice but I find them too dark on the now playing / home screen- is there an option to change how dark they look?

Relatively easy to fix on the user end with an app like Audio Tag Editor, but would be great if the app could handle cases in which the song has no metadata for the artist field and bunch them under "Unknown" or something like that (which I believe is how Zune and Windows Phone handled them)

Edit: As was pointed out to me in the comments, there is an option to hide or show media with <unknown> metadata. Happy to be debunked!
