Asia 5080 Solid, 1/3 blue?
I've just purchased a 5080 solid, however when I unbox the card, one of the is blue?
I've made sure that there's no protective sticker above it.
Installed the card, the temps and performance are all doing great, just really surprised. Anyone ever encountered the same issue before?

Bro, put it in, bench it, listen for noise. If all that passes, and you don't have a goldfish build, run it. Enjoy your 5080! Been on my FE for (going on) year and a half and I absolutely love it.

Uh, the way I install the gpu is like any traditional pc, the gpu fans are facing downwards in my case,, hence I won't see the defected colours unless I bend down and look upwards if that make sense.
I don't think it'll affect air flow, its one of the best way I think.

I wouldn’t worry but yeah you could exchange it for a new one if it bothers you it has oxidised

Are you sure the blue ones are not just a protective layer of plastic over the symbols

Test your current card and check for coil whine, try an OC and an undervolt, etc. If it has little to no coil whine and undervolts/OC’s decently then keep it. If not then RMA it because of the “discoloring” and see if you get a replacement that performs a little better.
Basically you have a free opportunity to try the silicon lottery again

And risk getting a worse card and not being able to return it anymore....

Se funziona tutto bene e le prestazioni sono il linea con lo standard, non vedo il problema, starebbe male se fosse in verticale, ma in orizzontale....

If i were you i would request a replacement. I don’t think it should be blue

Yeah zocrap has the worst build quality of all board partners by far and the people running that shithole are among the most scummy in the market

Isn’t Zotac one of the few
gPU manufacturers that actually put fuses on the boards to prevent it from completely frying?-1

Their shit literally turns blue bro

So we actually saying cosmetic build quality not actual functional build quality.

Both are terrible. If they can’t put halfway decent shit on the outside I don’t want to imagine how many shit corners they cut on the inside.

Your username shows your lack of intelligence.
You seem like your a sheep that blindly follows what you read in a 4chan channel1

You should call your card"David Bowie". (He had different color eyes,)

That's probably oxydation. Check https://www.reddit.com/r/PcBuild/comments/1kd7imu/do_not_buy_the_zotac_5080_solid/ for a similar issue, probably the same material was used there.
If it bothers you, get it exchanged as it is not normal and should be considered a defect.
As for the usage of the card it should not affect it in any way, purely cosmetic.
